Would you like to contribute to the conference by organising a pre- or post-event?

We welcome applications of interest from all stakeholders who wish to organise a pre- or post-event.

To cover as many aspects of road safety as possible, we rely on the assistance of all stakeholders around the world when developing the programme of the event.

Before and after the 3rd Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety 2020 there will be a possibility to arrange a pre- or post-event. As with many international events, it can be advantageous for organisations to hold related events before and after the conference to reach out to a specific audience who may also be attending the conference. These events could include workshops, seminars, demonstrations or field visits etcetera.

Requirement

A strict requirement is that the event focus on road safety. Beneficial to the application is if it is a product of a collaboration between stakeholders and/-or if it reflects on other sustainability aspects within the 2030 Agenda.

The organiser is responsible for the overall organisation and all costs related to the event.

Provided the application of interest is accepted, and the event meets the criteria above, it will be considered an official pre-and post-event, and can be given visibility on the conference web site and in the conference programme.

Post events should take place before 22nd February 2020.
